A detailed look at the Little People Collector U.S. Soccer Special Edition Set, including contents, packaging, and who should buy it.
Quick answer
The Little People Collector U.S. Soccer Special Edition Set includes two player figures in official U.S. Soccer kits, presented in a vibrant window box. It's a fun, affordable collectible for soccer fans and Little People enthusiasts alike.
What makes this set special
This Fisher-Price set reimagines two U.S. Soccer players as Little People figures, each styled in official team kits. The window box packaging features U.S. Soccer colors and decorations, making it display-ready without needing an extra case.
At a catalog price of $12.75 (compared to $17.00), it offers good value for a licensed collectible. The set is part of the broader Little People Collector line, which appeals to both children and adult collectors.
Limitations to consider
The set includes only two figures, so it won't build a full team. The figures are stylized as chunky Little People, not realistic miniatures, which may not suit every collector's taste.
No official player names or specific match details are provided on the packaging, so it's a general tribute rather than a specific roster set.
Decision rules
- Display preference: If you plan to keep the set in its packaging, the window box is ideal. If you prefer to pose figures outside the box, note that the figures are not articulated and stand only about 2.5 inches tall.
- Collector focus: Buy this set if you collect U.S. Soccer memorabilia or Little People Collector series. Skip it if you need detailed player likenesses or a full team lineup. Consider pairing with other Little People Collector sets for variety.
- Budget check: At $12.75, it's an affordable entry point for a licensed collectible. The catalog comparison price of $17.00 suggests you're getting a discount, but the set's value depends on your personal interest in the theme. If you're on a tight budget, this is a low-cost way to start a soccer-themed collection.
